for years he did it on the salary of a state senator. . .which seemed to be all that was wrong with politics to me. . .Prior to that, he was a used car salesman and realtor. I'm not a fan. I'm the only northwest Arkansan that's not, apparently, but I'm so not a fan.

I can handle 22 6-7 year-olds at school but I would never, not in any amount of years or given any amount of money, have so many children and keep on having children. The show may be popular but it's my opinion there is something not-quite-right with that story. (I guess they stay within their religious group since no “normal” woman would want her daughter to marry a Dugger son?!)
And another thing…this Jon and Kate Plus 8 business?? I saw that turning into a fiasco from the get-go.
What's wrong with these people?

They have a non profit status due to the fact that their home is also where they have church. Jim Bob is evidently in real estate and they are DEBT free! DEBT free with all of those kids-Can you imagine!!!!
On their website they offer some type of system tmaizieo be self-sufficent and debt free. Can you tell I am somewhat obsesson't know why, but tchicklettehey are an object of much curiosity for me. I don't agree with them on their need to populate the world, I feel like God's will could better be served by taking kids who don't have homes and raising themaizm in a Godly manner. But that's just my two cents worth. If you have ever seen JB and M on a interview, she hangs on his every word, VERY CREEPY, they have a very cultish feel to me.

i have been watching the Duggar's since their first special. i am always amazed by that family. i think it's crazy to have so many kids and very unhealthy for Michelle to be pregnant almost every year, but it's their desire to keep having children “as long as God allows.” their son, Josh, said the same thing about his marriage. i think the big issue i have is that the older girls are the ones with the most responsibilities. they raise the kids, do all the housework, the cooking, the homeschooling, the babysitting, bathing and dressing all the younger ones. i understand it's prepping them for their roles as mothers and wives, but when do they get a break? when do they get to just be girls? it wasn't their choice to be caretakers of all their siblings. i'm a sucker for family reality tv, so i will keep watching. i will probably watch Kate Gosselin's new show with TLC, too. i do wonder how the Duggars support all those kids. if the Gosselins got 75k an episode, what are the Duggars making? they also pay cash for everything. take care.
