If boys can do it, girls can totally do it! Like most things we just put more thought into it and gotta do it with “flair”. Ha! : )

So I recently moved out to the far sticks myself (having been a total suburbanite who worked smack dab in far away downtown until last month), and *I* am totally with Ella on this one…even an outdoor midnight pee is liberating for, um, anyone… (don’t judge!). One of the little pleasures of podunk.

Might be a little drama at first, but it’s totally worth learning. Girls need to be outdoors and active and not left out or running to find potties all the time! [As an aside, why don't girls' clothes have centered-fly clothes or pull-apart-fly undies, esp for the little ones and for chicks who like to run,hike,hunt,fish,etc? I would have loved it when mine was a tot, for sure!]

Just a suggestion, S.F.Momma: get that gal a p-mate, whiz, urinelle, whatever…one of those thingies that lets chickies go standing up, when she’s older. They are awesome for country girls who go outdoors and prefer not to squat in weeds/ticks/ivy/you-name-it.

I love that pic of your kid because it could have been any one of us in my fam! Us kiddos in the South are usually running around half-nekkid at that age anyway. My mother didn’t use the pictures as blackmail, at least. God love her.

Ella reminds me so much of my girls-I had 2 at the same time who were constantly taking off their panties to pee where ever they happened to be-and they too thought it was hilarious. I love the picture of Ella.

When Will was a toddler I would regularly find him with his pants around his ankles, peeing on something. We live in the city – you can get arrested for that stuff.

Boys are pretty easy, but then you have to teach them that they can’t pee on the steps or porch where everyone is going to track it into the house. My boys pee everywhere…..it’s as if they are marking their territory.
