I broke the golden rule

I did the Spring Break thing without the kids.

I even took my Geritol.

However, I forgot the golden rule of old people and didn’t take my flu shot.

Yeah, I did…I got the flu on spring break.

Out were the keg stands…wet t-shirts contests…beer funnels…and all- nighters.

In were Tylenol Cold and Flu tablets…and snot rags…and being perpetually pissed off at skinny, healthy college girls.

Spring break sucks when your old.

    What luck…..that sucks, I can’t believe that happened to you on vacation?!?! I swear something like this would only happen to you, lol. Sorry it wasn’t as fun as it was supposed to be…..but at least you had even more reason to be pissed at the skinny college b*****s :-) Hope you guys had a safe trip!
