Full of Crap

As the above picture shows, Ella’s diaper is full of crap. You don’t have to see it…you don’t have to smell it…you just know it’s there.

That’s the way I feel about this election. It’s full of crap and I’m sick of it.

The mud slinging…the name calling…the undermining. Crap.

I wish we could have one candidate that would stand up and say, “My name is John Doe…and I stand for yada, yada, yada and I believe in blah, blah, blah. My opponent is a good man but we have different views. Sorry, I won’t be taking millions of dollars in donations every month because it’s a huge waste. If you support me,  please donate your hard working dollars to the following American charities. Let’s do some good in the neighborhood. Thank you for your time.”

His bus could be the “No Crap Express.”

Am I the only person that feels this way? Am I the only one that sees the amount of money that is donated every month to our candidates and think that sure would get alot of people out of FEMA trailers in the South?  Out of trailers and back into their homes? How can you honestly and in good faith accept those donations when we have so many Americans in need?

OK…I’m getting off my crapbox  soapbox.

I still have no idea who I’m gonna vote for.

What are your views on this election?

  • Um, where were you in my live during the election??? I voted for McCain. I live in DC. I was almost lynched and called a racist more times than you care to know... And skin color shouldn't have been an issue...

You don't want my opinions on where this presidency is going. Elections have consequences, that is all I can sat,

I am ready for the election but also afraid. I am afraid of what is going to happen and hope with my heart that Obama wins. I think more than any other election this one has drummed up interest in the political process and I think that is a good thing. But I do wish there was more focus on the issues and less on the drama.
  • I'm right there with you sister! If I hear Sarah Palin's name I get nauseous, not because of her Politics (which I am not saying is right) but because of it being said over and over on TV
  • Um yeah, I think this election is infuriating, and I can't wait until November. I guess I am most tired of them thinking we are the stupidest people on the planet, like we don't recognize lies or things done just for show.

This is my advice, think long term. What they say now matters very little. What does their party stand for? Do you agree with their platforms enough to let your daughters grow up under them? Think of the Supreme Court judges they will appoint, they OUTLAST presidential terms, how will that go on to effect you or your daughters?

I am voting for Obama, because, of the two, i think he is the most likely to go in there and actually be a "maverick" and change things, I think he is gutsy enough to do so, and I think he can relate more to me and my income level than McCain can.
  • I so so so agree with you!!!! Oh but they would argue all that money is needed to make finger pointing tv commercials and fly all over the country to make their stump speeches. A total waste-and this year seems worse than usual. Yep Crap sums it up.
